Leonardo Da Vinci

Leonardo da Vinci was born in 1492 at a Tuscan farmhouse in Anchiano, Italy, near the town of Vinci where he spent most of his childhood. He was the son of Ser Piero and a girl called Caterina who worked for him. After Leonardo was born, the father and mother did not remain together. Only recently have details of Leonardo’s birth mother come to light. In 2002, Alessandro Vezzosi, Director of the Leonardo da Vinci Museum in Vinci, Italy, told the press they had found substantial proof Leonardo’s mother was a slave girl and not a peasant girl, as previously believed.(1) Vezzosi went on to report that Leonardo’s father was a craftsman who owned a Middle-Eastern female slave named Caterina. Referee’s fault in the World Cup 2010 like Robert Rosetti, the World Cup referee who wrongly awarded a goal to Argentina in its second-round wins against Mexico. There are two types of bad calls – poorly made referee judgments on fouls, and mistakes due to bad “positioning.” Other types of calls – such as determining if a player is offsides or deciding if the ball has crossed the goal line – are less subjective. These calls do, however, require keen vision by the referees as well as a good line of sight. After two high profile blunders in one week, there are renewed calls for technology assistance.

Fifa president Sepp Blatter has already said goal-line technology, talk of which was shelved at an International FA Board meeting in March, will be back on the agenda at Fifa meetings later in the year.

And Valcke said: “Goal-line technology is something you can use because it gives definitely the chance for the referee to understand the ball is in when he cannot always see it, as we have seen during this World Cup. That’s an alternative we can work on for the future.”

A tropical storm warning was issued in the lower Rio Grande valley along the border, from south of Baffin Bay, Texas to Rio San Fernando, Mexico. The warning signaled the storm could make landfall within the next 24 hours. And then,, a tropical depression churned over Mexico’s border with Texas on Thursday (July 08), dumping heavy rains on the already badly flooded region, the U.S. National Hurricane Center said.

“It’s difficult to describe,I was born and raised on the Mississippi River, but people here are used to just a small stream.” said Jerry Archer, manager of Rio Grande Plaza Hotel.

Garza said that “he was confident the combination of U.S. and Mexican emergency channels would siphon off enough water to avert the threat to Matamoros downstream. But some questioned why dam levels along the river and its tributaries were kept so high before the rains hit. The problem is, we had rainfall beyond historic levels, “
